Do waves become more particle-like if they are able to (as if) 'self-contain' and propagate?

Ironically, such geometric constructions as torus-enveloped closed-curve spiral-helixes, could also help explain why we struggle (or atleast I have for some time now) to consider in simultaneity of two incompatible internally-consistent comparable identities, i.e., waves, and particles.
